Mr Joseph I Gutnick

Mr Gutnick has been a Director of Quantum since 1987 and is currently Chairman and Managing Director of Astro Diamond Mines N.L. and Great Gold Mines N.L. and President and Chief Executive Officer of Legend International Holdings Inc and Golden River Resources Corporation, Delaware Corporations listed on the over the counter market in the USA. Mr Gutnick has been responsible for overseeing the discovery, development and operation of a number of world class gold and nickel mines in Australia. He was awarded the Diggers award at the 1997 Diggers and Dealers Industry Awards and is a former Director of the World Gold Council.
Dr David S Tyrwhitt
Non-Executive Director - PhD(Geology), BSc(Hons) Geology, FSEG (USA), FAusIMM
Dr Tyrwhitt has been a Director of Quantum since 1999. He has more than 40 years experience in the mining industry. He is currently a Director of Astro Diamond Mines N.L., Great Gold Mines N.L., Legend International Holdings Inc and Golden River Resources Corporation. He worked for over 20 years with Newmont Mining Corporation in Australia, South East Asia and the United States. During this time, he was responsible for the discovery of the Telfer Gold Mine in Western Australia. He was Chief Executive of Newmont Australia Limited between 1984 and 1988 and Chief Executive Officer of Ashton Mining Limited between 1988 and 1991. He established his own consultancy in 1991 and worked with Normandy Mining Limited on a number of mining projects in South East Asia.

Mr Mordechai Gutnick is a businessman and long-term investor in the mining industry. He is also a Director of Astro Diamond Mines N.L., Great Gold Mines N.L. and Golden River Resources Corporation.

Mr Peter Lee
General Manager - Corporate and Company Secretary - BBus CA FCIS MAICD
Mr Lee has over 25 years of experience in the accounting, company secretarial and commercial fields both in Australia and overseas. He joined Quantum in 1987. Mr Lee has been involved in the development and introduction of a range of corporate issues including registration of several companies in the United States, chairing due diligence committees, preparation of prospectuses, project management, preparation of annual reports, and organisation and control of annual general meetings. Prior to joining the Company, he spent six years with Price Waterhouse in Melbourne and Papua New Guinea.
Dr James H Wright
Manager Research - BSc., MSc, DIC, PhD, MIMM
Dr Wright has twenty-six years of mineral exploration experience within Australia and has been involved in the search for base metals, gold, tin, uranium and diamonds. The majority of his experience has been gained in Western Australia, Queensland and the Northern Territory. He has also had involvement with regolith research and regional geological studies with a gold and diamond focus. In addition Dr Wright has provided background research in geochemistry, assay standards and assaying / sampling and he has had a close association with the development of geological procedures for exploration and for codifying geological information. He has been involved in major gold discoveries in Western Australia.
Mr Craig Michael
Chief Project Manager - BSc(Hons), BSc(Geol)
Mr. Michael has recently joined Quantum Resources Limited from Oxiana Ltd where he has been based in Laos as Project Geologist on the Sepon Copper Gold Project. He was responsible for the geological interpretation of the copper-gold deposit, interpretation and compilation of the gold resource database and identification of potential targets. Prior to his time with Oxiana, he was a mine geologist at Sons of Gwalia’s Carosue Dam Gold Project in Western Australia.
Ms Nicole Farrell
Exploration Manager - BA, BSc(Hons) Metamorphic Geology, DipEd
Ms Farrell has several years experience in corporate, remote and off-shore capacities in the minerals and oil petroleum sectors. This includes working as a Geological and Gemological Consultant in the Diamond Industry and as Project Geologist for ESSO Australia, responsible for down-hole well interpretation and analysis. Nicole’s thesis was commissioned by AWI Administration, Yandal Regional Exploration at Bronzewing Gold Mine, entitled: “Thermodynamic Modelling of Garnet-rich meta-basalts in Achaean Greenstones in the Yilgarn Craton, Western Australia”. Nicole’s research into the exploration history of Quantum's land holdings has enabled the initiation and development of further programs on prospective ground.
